Message from the President

Brad Cronk, President
Greetings, Team Alamon.
I have some great news to report, and I will also be asking for your help toward the end of this message. Let’s begin with the great news.
As we approach the end of fiscal 2023 (our fiscal year ends June 30th), the Network Services team is wrapping up a record-setting year by posting the best revenue numbers, of any division, in Alamon’s 48-year history.
This is a significant achievement that involved a lot of hard work. Please take a moment and congratulate Troy Reeves and the Network team. This strong performance drives our ESOP share price up, which benefits all of us.
Looking ahead to fiscal 2024, a few customers have scaled back the work we do for them, but the vast majority have not. I expect the year ahead to be another strong one for Alamon.
We will see continued growth of our customers base. We are making a concerted effort to enter the renewable energy marketplace. Our revamped Alatrac software is being rolled out, and we look forward to exploring new ways for it to enhance our business. Our ETS team is excelling at work they’re currently doing for the Veterans Administration, which has the potential to lead to big opportunities with the VA in the year ahead.
We are all part of an innovative, thriving company, serving industries that are experiencing a lot of growth. It really is an exciting time for Alamon.
Now here is my challenge to you, and my request for your help.
I need all employee-owners to put their best effort into improving our safety behind the wheel of Alamon vehicles. A recent series of avoidable auto accidents in company vehicles is a trend that needs to stop immediately.
Managers must emphasize how critically important this is to our business, and drivers must do more to avoid accidents. I encourage you to reach out to the Safety team for guidance about safe driving practices.
This will be a major point of emphasis for us this year. The nature of our work relies heavily on our employees’ safety, our safety record, our fleet, and our ability obtain fleet insurance at reasonable rates.
As an employee-owned company, Alamon belongs to all of us. Let’s remember to act like owners, and work harder to improve our driving safety.
Thank you in advance for making this a priority.
Brad

The High Cost of Distracted Driving
It only takes a second, but taking your focus off of driving, no matter how briefly, can be extremely costly.
Whether you’re glancing at a text, searching for a radio station, or rummaging through the console for an address you wrote on a piece of paper, distracted driving is dangerous. It leads to accidents, skyrocketing insurance rates, injuries and death.
Alamon has a strong commitment to safety, and it includes driving safely. All employee-owners have a responsibility to adhere to safe driving practices in company vehicles at all times.

Meet Justin Pratt
Justin Pratt, Alamon’s new Electrical Supervisor joined the company in October of 2022. As the upward trajectory of the renewable energy industry continues, Alamon will devote more resources to serving that marketplace, and Justin will be key to that effort.
Good Work
We’re pleased to recognize recent Employee of the Month award recipients (November 2022 – April 2023). Read about employee-owners who are doing outstanding work, and setting a great example for the rest of us to follow.
Happy Anniversary
There are many work-related anniversaries to recognize for June & July. See who has been with Alamon how long, and take a minute and reach out to your friends and co-workers and acknowledge them.
