This is a good time to work at Alamon. The past year has been outstanding from a revenue generation standpoint, and the recent dramatic leap in the company’s share price reflects that (see the details here). The increased share price directly boosts the value of the Employee Stock Ownership Plan, which everyone* participates in.
As Alamon Chief Operating Officer Scott Lawrence recently pointed out to Utility West inspection teams working in Ephrata, WA, “when you work at an employee-owned company, there’s no ‘fat cat’ at the top of the organization making the lion’s share of the money from your hard work.”
Simply put, when Alamon succeeds, we all succeed. ESOP companies provide employees a greater level of participation in the growth and success of the company, which has been shown to increase employee and company performance.
President Brad Cronk firmly believes in the ESOP. “It is so difficult today to save money for retirement. The ESOP is the best solution to that problem, and it’s a great way to generate significant wealth for retirement by simply working hard, doing the right thing, and taking great care of our customers.”
